Viviane. you used a term I'm not familiar with, Derp. Could you explain what you meant by that?
Thanks, Frank
the reason i entitled this "problems with common atheist arguments" instead of "the case against atheism" is that many atheists claim that atheism is not a belief system, makes no claims, and has no requirements to follow, so there's no way to argue against atheism itself.
i will go along with this idea, and argue against the most frequently used arguments of atheists instead of atheism itself.disclaimer # 1: this is not an argument against atheism or all atheists.
no, rather this is an argument against the most frequently used claims and arguments made by the atheists i speak to on twitter.

In what way are you imagining that me suggesting that you stopping having an idea that you have a problem with is in any way related to freedom of speech or conscience?
Touche!

Viviane: Well, that's your idea so ... I dunno, stop having it.
LOL, and this from a woman who espouses freedom of conscience and speech.

In regard to the illustration above: Looking to the past we could find a myriad of tortures inflicted on the innocent. Was crucifixion a "religious" punishment in Rome or a secular one?
Men torture. They torture because they can and they can because they have the power to do so. At times that power is supplied by their religion at other times by their secular authority.
the problem of perfection(ism).
the best piece of advice i got was from my art teacher, aubrey mayhew.he told me, "art isn't about 'getting it right.
' it's about your mistaken views which you give yourself permission to explore.".

FusionTheism,
Christian religious leaders have brought much calumny upon Christianity. They have lied, killed and tortured. The NT confirms religious leaders also did this to God's Son.
Whatever atheists throw at Christians, Christian leaders deserve. I only have a problem with the idea that only Christians have the faults ascribed to them. They do not.
just wondering?
he denied being in subjection to the the watchtower corporation so are they still using him in their regular monthly broadcast.
assuming you are still sitting there because of circumstances.

I still give talks because I will continue to be who I am until the time comes when I am not. That time will be next year.
Jesus knew his religion was going the wrong way but he remained to do what he could. I try to follow his example.

as brooklyn is undergoing a major renaissance, i could never understand why wts sold at far less than the optimum real estate peak.. thank you seth meyers for clarity.. http://observer.com/2015/06//.
They should not give up all their real estate in Brooklyn. It would be a huge mistake to do so. A mistake bigger than Warwick which has turned out to be the biggest financial blunder in the history of the Organization.
Someone needs to take charge otherwise the GB will drive the Organization into financial ruin. The GB is incapable of thinking straight. They lean on others, more than lead.
Sad story.
one or two of you have noticed that i use derogatory terms when talking about matters religion.
i offer no apology.
you do, however, deserve an explanation.. my father, bless him and now dead, was a survivor of belsen, the german concentration camp.
